When should you book your beach session?
In the Fall.
Seriously.
Especially if you live in Southern Ontario and want minimal to no crowd!
This balmy mid-October evening was absolutely perfect for this mini family beach session in Prince Edward County. So perfect, that Ivy and Cooper ended the session frolicking in the water creating some of my favourite images that I have captured in a while!
This family has been so special to me. I have been doing photos with Stephanie since Ivy was just one and now she is almost 6! The moment I knew that Stephanie was my kind of person is when she asked on my our second session together, "do you ever get nervous meeting up with strangers?", and funny enough, I had never thought of it until she asked me and made me realize how dangerous photography can be, haha! We laughed though and still laugh about it every time we see each other.
I am so grateful for clients who become friends and who continue to come back and allow me capture their silly littles being their silly selves (Ivy is my most 'animated' client, haha!)! I also love when sessions run wild and kids are allowed to be kids. Ivy and Cooper just wanted to play and be silly and Stephanie and Jimmy just matched their energy and created some really sweet and silly family moments :)
The cherry on top of this session (other than it just happening) was when Ivy, who was soaked and warming up in the car yelled, "bye, I love you!".
I have so much love for Stephanie, Jimmy, Ivy and Cooper.
:)
