If you asked me which I like to photograph more - weddings or engagement sessions? - I would choose engagement sessions every single time (or just working with couples who aren’t engaged and just in love!)!

Engagements/ couples sessions allow for more freedom and fun - there is not structure, no rules, no time limit (yes, my engagement sessions are normally an hour but I never set a timer and will keep going until the sun goes down!). You (or I, if you want me to) get to choose your favourite place to be with each other. Maybe that is at the beach, in the woods, at a bar, or at your home! Wherever it is, it’s your place (or the place I choose, haha!). Engagement/ couples sessions are also a great time to include your pets or kids for some fun shots, shoot at a spot you love that you won’t have time to visit, or go for a beer or a bite to eat - anything that you won’t have time to do on your wedding day. It’s the best time to connect with each other AND your photographer, aka. the person who will be following you around ALL DAY on your wedding day!

So don’t be afraid to think outside the box when it comes your engagement/ couples session!
