What's the best way to get to know your photographer before your wedding day?
If you answered "doing an engagement session" then you win! Sorry, there is no prize.
I know how strange and awkward it can be to meet new people - I do it all the time and it still doesn't get any less awkward.
But I want to get that awkwardness out of the before the big day!
The engagement session is like going on a first date.. with your photographer, haha! That first date is where you get to know the person, have some giggles, feel out each others vibes, and see if you want to go on a second date or not. Your engagement session also allows me to put a face to a name, get an understanding of what your wedding day may feel like, what you expect of me and vice versa, and to make that connection without the stress of the day upon us.
This is why I offer (and HIGHLY suggest you use!) engagement sessions with each of my wedding and micro wedding / elopement packages!
Not using your engagement session will not save you money on your package and you cannot transfer what would have been the session time to your wedding date - that defeats the purpose of the session. I completely understand if time is limited before the wedding day or you live out of province/ the country and I am absolutely willing to work with couples in that case! But who doesn't want to have more photos capturing their love story?
So, when you book with me you automatically get an engagement session! No additional fee (unless travel is involved).
