Only 7 weeks and 6 days until Summer!!
And with summer (and Spring!) comes beach days, time with friends, lots of frolicking AND engagements, weddings and elopements! Woohoo!
I am beyond excited to get back to comfortable temperatures and being able to walk around without the fear of falling on my butt at any given second, haha!
So, to get us excited for the warmer months ahead, why not take it back to July of 2022 and roaming the grounds of the Cole Harbour Heritage Park in, you guessed it, Cole Harbour!
Olivia and Luc met up with me for their engagement session on a warm July evening when the sky was a bit ominous - it seemed like it wanted to rain but also looked like it was just a giant sheet of grey in the sky while also letting an even warm light shine through. It was quite confusing but it also kind of gave us the best of both worlds for lighting - even light that you would find on a cloudy day paired with warm lighting from the sun! This was my first time at this location and Olivia had a vision that included a field of flowers but unfortunately that field was being mowed down as we were there. But that didn’t stop us from getting creative and using what was left of the long grass that had not yet been mowed (PSA: Always check for ticks after your spring, summer and fall sessions if you do them outside!).
I love their connection and learning more about who they are and what they like! That is what I love most about engagement sessions and why I offer them as a complimentary session with my wedding and elopement packages so that I can build that relationship and connection with my clients prior to one of the biggest and most important days of their lives!
I can’t wait to meet up with these two again on their wedding day in May!
