Elopement at East Lake | Annapolis Valley, Nova Scotia

This is a small example of what a 3-hour full elopement gallery can look like!

Alison and Brandon’s East Lake, Nova Scotia elopement in September was the perfect Valley elopement! They had planned everything in a few weeks time but the intention behind every choice from the dress down to the candle colours on the table and the cake was phenomenal! They used their two properties that sit along East Lake near Middleton, Nova Scotia -the East Lake A-Frame is their AirBnb and they also own another property just down the lane that is their personal cottage that they use. They kept things simple, relaxed, went their own pace and did exactly what they wanted to do! They also included their pup Baloo so much in their day - he was the best best-man, maid-of-dog-honour and he even walked his mom down the isle :)

Elopements are fantastic for couples who are looking for a bit more freedom with their timelines, their guest list, and their photos. The smaller the event also allows more time to grab more "posed" photos of loved ones (such as siblings and their significant others or friends) that may be overlooked at a more traditionally planned wedding. This way everyone who attends can enjoy some new photos of them with their friend, family and partner/ children that they may have otherwise not gotten the chance to have taken at a larger wedding!
