Wild, free, and in love.
The three things I would use to describe Leigh and Matthew's relationship.
First off, these two came all the way from Cape Breton to Halifax! Like, not just a quick 30 minute drive.
Now, they did plan a few days where they were checking out their venue (my FAVE - Tangled Garden in Grand Pre!!!) and all that as well as visit with some friends, so it wasn't all for me.. but I am still so grateful they could make the trip down! And we still were at the mercy of the weather since this would be our only time meeting up before the wedding this year.. thankfully, Mother Nature was kind of on our side and gave us a bit of mist but the gift of soft light from the grey sky :)
Right off the bat, I knew I was going to absolutely love working with these two. Leigh's cool glasses, their gorgeous hair, and wicked colourful tattoo sleeve..
*cue heart eye emoji*
obsessed!
And I vibed with Matt's sweet and bubbly nature!
Both of them were down for all of my different ideas and shared some of their own which I always LOVE when clients have a vision and want to try to make it come to life! Never be nervous to share an idea or a photo that you like. I will never take offence - I am inspired by other photographers on the daily!
I could have frolicked in the woods with these two for hourrrrrssss - just picking the photos for this post reminded me of how much fun I had with them! And it makes me all the more excited to see them again in a few months for their wedding day in the valley!
Gosh, I am seriously so lucky to meet the people that I do!
