Couple sessions are not just for proposals or engagements..
they are for anyone in love before and after marriage!
Jamie and Matt were in Nova Scotia visiting family and happily accepted my offer of doing a shoot with the two of them as a way to help me build my NS portfolio and as an early 1 year wedding anniversary shoot for them (she is an August bride and got married on the hottest day ever!)!
I don’t offer free shoots very often (a girl’s gotta eat and pay bills!) but for my friends I love to give them something to show how much I love and appreciate them! And it was a great way for me to try out some new poses! It’s a win-win situation!
Something that my friends love to do is surprise me.. and that Jamie and Matt did with a PREGNANCY ANNOUNCEMENT!! Jamie pulled out that letter board and I couldn’t believe my eyes at first! And then they assured me it was real and I cried, haha! (See my post Feeling is Healing and you will learn that I cry a lot).
They are expecting their little girl (one second, I’m sobbing again!) so soon and I am so sad that I no longer live near them to meet baby when she arrives - but I will meet her eventually, I just have little patience, haha!
So, what was planned as a couples session turned into a pregnancy announcement and a sob fest! I loved every minute of this shoot and spending time with my friends that I miss daily!
