There's no place...
.. like the valley!
This wedding was a special one for me for a couple different reasons:
- It took place in my hometown of Kentville, Nova Scotia! This is where I was born and raised and lived until I got married at 22 :)
- It actually took place where I shot my first full-on wedding EVER! Yes! I shot my first "wedding" (aka. not an elopement) at Healy Farms back in October 2017. I have been wanting to shoot a wedding there since that day and I finally got the opportunity to!
Kaitlin + Andrew were the perfect couple to make this opportunity come to life!
This was a 10 hour day (a package that I just added this 2023 wedding season) and it felt so relaxed and casual - an easy breezy feel to the day.
You really felt the love and excitement from each person in attendance :)
Something that I really loved about this day was the strong presence of family.
Kaitlin had her sisters and nieces in her bridal party as well as having her nephew apart of the wedding party and, one of my favourite parts of the day, seeing Kaitlin and Andrew's sweet pup, Harley, walking down the aisle with the wedding party! So sweet!!
Also, another sweet moment was seeing Kaitlin's dad stand up with her bridal party during the ceremony. There were so many unique and special moments throughout their day!
Healy Farms is the perfect location for a smaller but just big enough wedding that gives off that country charm while being in the town of Kentville!
