A fairytale wedding venue in the Annapolis Valley, Nova Scotia!
I may be biased because I was born and raised in the valley (Kentville is my home - about 15ish minutes from this venue) but The Greenhouse on Strawberry Lane may be the most magical wedding venue to ever be in Nova Scotia! Not only are the greenhouse and the flower garden just STUNNING, but the whole drive in once you are in the valley just gives you that warm inviting feeling. It is a slower pace in the valley with its rolling hills, countless vineyards (because the soil is top notch!), farm land with cows and horses to keep you smiling as you drive through, and so many incredible spots in between.. this isn't a tourism post but if I can convince you to visit the Annapolis Valley then I have truly done my job, haha!
I just LOVE it!
But truly, The Greenhouse on Strawberry Lane is the top spot for a micro wedding or elopement! I have been blessed to have shot at this venue for multiple micro weddings and many mini sessions, both in the winter and summer. Frances and James chose a GORGEOUS mid-September day to say their vows in front of their closest family and friends. I had actually shot on the exact same date at the same location a year prior (check out Page and Riley's Micro Wedding) and I had learned that you can look at the forecast for years prior to get an idea of what the weather may be like on your wedding day! Who knew?
And guess what?
At least two years in a row, the weather was absolutely INCREDIBLE on September 14th!
(Don't come for me if this doesn't actually work for your date, haha!)
I hope to get back for a wedding at the greenhouse in the near future to continue spending time in one of my favourite spots that lies just "down the road" from my family :)
