Frances and James chose the smaller wedding day route but they put so much thought and care into it! From spending the weekend at The Evangeline Hotel in Grand Pré, wanting to make the weekend just as special for their wedding party by showering them with gifts catered to their personalities, to sharing their vows privately under a willow tree (my FAVE!), to celebrating with them all at The Greenhouse on Strawberry Lane (that post is coming soon!). I knew when I first met Francis and James that they were kind and attentive people - they listened, we connected (these two are so funny and their friends and family are, too!!), and they gave me grace when I deeply needed it after our dog had suddenly passed. This whole experience working with them, getting to know them, and spending the day with them and their loved ones (in my favourite area of Nova Scotia - possibly the whole world!) meant (and still means) so much to me!
I decided to split their 7 hour day up into two posts (yes, there are too many moments to share in one post for a 7 hour micro wedding!), so keep an eye out for part II where I will share photos from their beautiful ceremony at The Greenhouse on Strawberry Lane!
