I cry every day..

That may sound dramatic but it’s the truth! I cry because a show I like is over (we just finished Superstore for the first time and I cried); I cry because I see something sad on social media; I cry because I’m stressed, lonely (I miss our friends <3), tired, or I just get a wave of sadness; I cry for other people’s situations that have nothing to do with me; I cry just looking at my dogs and I am reminded that they will not be with us forever.

I cry A LOT!

But I saw a video once of someone saying along the lines of it is blessing that we get to feel our feelings. And I really liked that! I like that I am emotional and I am not afraid to show it. I want others to know how much I care for them, how much I love them, how important they are to me.

I am just someone who has a lot of love but a small body and it’s hard to keep that love from pouring out, you know?

Let this be your reminder that it is okay to have a lot of feelings. Let them out, share them with your partner, loved ones, therapist, the internet! Feel those feelings!

QOTD: Do you have a word for the year? I would love to see what it is if you do!

Shoutout to my friend Nicole of McKinnon Psychotherapy + Brunette the Label for creating the coziest sweater ever (I feel like it is giving me a big hug!) with the perfect saying!
