For Jess and Shawn, this session was their chance to get dressed up and have the professional photos done that they didn't have on their actual wedding day 8 years ago during their courthouse wedding! I loved that they both showed up dressed TO THE NINES (like hello?! The dress was MADE for Jess!) and that they came to a location that they had never been before solely on my recommendation.
We had sooo many laughs during this session and I don't know who made the shoes that Jess is wearing in these but they need to sponsor her because she HIKED IN HEELS! No joke. Polly's Cove is for hikers - there is uneven terrain, rock, brush galore! None of which prevented Jess from getting around not only in a beautiful wedding dress but also while wearing heels without one single complaint!
I am still in shock, haha!
This was one of the last warm days in October and we were so fortunate to have the evening that we did.
I am so beyond grateful for couples and clients who trust my vision and recommendations! Polly's Cove is my absolute FAVE spot in the HRM (and possibly in Nova Scotia - I haven't shot everywhere in NS so for now it is number one!) and not enough people either realize it's there or don't want to take the chance on it (which is completely fair). But this is me telling you, the one with an adventurous heart and who love Nova Scotia:
