For all the dog-obsessed couples...

I say 'yes' to you bringing your dog(s) to your session (pretty please do this)!

Let's go back a couple of years ago to Nicole and Carter's casual and super cute engagement session in Trenton, Ontario.

These two are our really good friends - so good, in fact, that we lived with Carter for the first few months when we moved to Trenton/ Belleville the first time back in 2016!

The one thing I love most about Nicole and Carter is not just their gigantic hearts (the most supportive, loving, generous people out there!), but it is actually their love for their dogs (who saw that coming? You should have haha!). I, too, love their dogs - Archie (my guy!), Kobe, and Theo - and it was the best to have them included in these engagement photos. This is why I try to get clients to pick their location for their engagement or maybe there is an activity that you both love doing - grabbing coffee, walking along the beach, rock climbing, or playing with your pups! Make it special but also somewhat familiar. This will help you feel less stressed being in front of the camera and worrying about what to do with your hands or where to look. I want my clients to feel as natural as possible and to capture them being 95% themselves - let's face it, if there is a 5'1 stranger with a camera pointed at you, you are not acting 100% yourself, haha!

So, bring the dog(s), cat, baby (yes, you can include your kids!) as well as someone who can wrangle them up when you want some photos with just the two of you; let's go to your favourite coffee shop on the corner by your favourite park and go for stroll!

Whatever it is, let's do it!
