This engagement session was squeezed in just two days before Aileen and Andrew's elopement at Nova Glamping in West Dover! These two came up from New Brunswick with their daughter and their immediate family to share in an intimate celebration of them coming together as husband and wife. They all spent a couple of days at this gorgeous AirBnb in Boutilier's Point with it's own access to a small sliver of sandy and rocky beach.
I know that this was the perfect example of why having / taking advantage of your complimentary engagement session that I offer with all of my packages, small weddings and elopements! We were able to break the ice; I was able to get a feel for Aileen and Andrew's boundaries (though they seemed to have none, haha!); and we were able to discuss in-person how the day of their elopement would go - which we already discussed in emails but I always take the opportunity to clarify when I meet up with my couples!
I loved this session and working with Aileen's "awkwardness"... please understand that is the biggest form of sarcasm, haha! She was meant to be in front of the camera (both of them are!)! Another example of "I am awkward in front of the camera" gone right!.. it always does ;)
